[1] My name is Tom. I am a student. I am not a teacher. My school is in the city centre. It is a big school. The classes are at nine o'clock in the morning.
[2] My friend is Anna. She is not a student. She is a café worker. The café is near the school. It is a small, cosy place. The coffee is hot and the price is good.
[3] Today is Monday. The class is at nine. Lunch is at one o'clock. Tom and Anna are at the café at one. "What would you like?" asks Anna. "A large cappuccino, please," says Tom. "Anything else?" — "No, thanks. How much is it?" — "It is three pounds."
[4] On Friday there is a party. It is at Tom and Jane's flat. The flat is not far — it is in Park Street. "Come to our party on Friday!" says Tom. The party is at seven o'clock. "What number is your flat?" asks Anna. "It is flat number five," says Tom.
[5] Anna is happy. The café is not open on Friday evening. She is free. "What time is it?" she asks. It is half past six. She is not late. "I am ready!" says Anna. The party is fun and the people are friendly.
